Last night was ALS ONE’s annual Snow Ball Gala. It was held this year at Lombardo’s in Randolph. I was sad that my parents couldn’t join us this year. My father is in the middle of chemotherapy for pancreatic cancer and we couldn’t take the chance of having him around a lot of people with his immune system so compromised.
This year we were joined by Alana, my Aunt Kathy and Uncle Dick, my cousin Kerri and her Boyfriend Gus, our friends Bill and Alissa, Eric and Diane, and Cheryl and Dave. We rented a car to get us there since there was a good possibility that we’d be imbibing a tad. Some of us imbibed a tad, some of imbibed a ton (I’m looking at you Aaron and Kerri ;0)). It seems there’s a pattern when Aaron and Kerri are together at big events. It’s pretty fun to watch, and it’s super fun to remind them of their shenanigans the next day!
The night was wildly successful, and we look forward to next year’s event!
