In October of 2019, my friends and family and I held our first fundraiser for ALS One. It was an “80s night” and we raised over $5000. In March 2021, we started our Rise Against ALS initiative, with an eye toward advocacy and awareness, and with the specific mission of raising funds for ALS One through various smaller fundraisers throughout the year, culminating with what has become our signature annual event, which morphed from 80s night to a Through the Decades Dance Party in 2021 and 2022, where we raised nearly $25,000. Our 5th annual Through the Decades Dancy Party will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024, and we hope to make this our best event ever! Tickets will be on sale soon!
