RED SOX ALS Awareness Game

Aaron, Jack, and I were honored to help represent ALS One at the Red Sox ALS Awareness Game last night. We joined four ALS organizations, 25 families affected by the disease, Mass. Governor Charlie Baker, and Dr. Merit Cudkowicz of the Healey Center for ALS at MGH, among others during the pregame ceremony. As a person with ALS, it was an incredibly emotional night. As a Red Sox fan, it was the thrill of a lifetime to be on the field at Fenway Park.

Jack’s favorite part of the night? Not being on the field. Not being a stone’s throw from the players. No, my son’s favorite part was shaking our Governor’s hand. He thought that was the cat’s meow. That’s my boy!
